Privacy
Super Sortie keeps as little as it can. There are no accounts, no ads, no tracking cookies, and nothing is sold.
What stays on your device
Your browser keeps these so the game remembers you between visits. They never leave your device unless listed in the next section:
- Your callsign, chosen theater and livery, and sound setting
- Your stats: streak, games played, best scores, medals and recent results
- A random device ID, so the leaderboard can allow one official score per device per day
Clearing your browser's site data for supersortie.io erases all of it.
What is sent when you finish a daily sortie
To put you on the leaderboard, the game sends:
- Your callsign, which other players can see
- Your score, wave results, flight time, kills, hull left, theater and the day's conditions
- Your random device ID. It is never shown to other players.
Practice runs are never sent.
About your IP address. To stop spam, the server counts submissions per network each day. It does this with a scrambled, one-way code made from your IP address, the date and a secret value. Your actual IP address is never stored.
Visitor statistics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits, see which sites send visitors, and measure how fast pages load. It uses no cookies and does not follow you across other websites.
Who handles the data
The website, leaderboard and statistics run on Cloudflare, which processes data for us under its own privacy policy. Fonts load from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address the way any website request does. Nobody else receives your data.
How long it's kept
Leaderboard scores are kept so past days' boards stay visible. The data on your device stays until you clear it.
Removing your scores
Email hello@supersortie.io with your callsign and the dates you played, and we'll remove your scores from the leaderboard.
Children
Super Sortie is not aimed at children under 13. Please don't use a real name or other personal details as your callsign.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will change too. If we ever add ads or anything that uses cookies, we'll update this page first.
